Meet The Queen Flamingo

Welcome to my little slice of coastal heaven! I'm known as The Queen Flamingo around here – a name that stuck after my family noticed I'd somehow accumulated 47 flamingo-themed items throughout the house (yes, I counted). As the self-proclaimed matriarch of our beach-loving clan, I wear the title with pride.

My husband and I established SeaQueen as a vacation rental in 2024 after years of dreaming about creating the perfect coastal getaway. We wanted a place where families could make memories, couples could reconnect, and dogs could run free on the beach (because let's be real, they deserve vacations too). Our chocolate lab Emma, a beach-loving goofball who thinks every wave is a personal challenge, was our inspiration for the fenced yard and dog-friendly amenities.

I've been obsessed with hospitality since my grandmother taught me that the best gift you can give someone is a place where they feel truly at home. Whether you're visiting for a romantic weekend, a family reunion, or a solo writing retreat, I want SeaQueen to be exactly what you need it to be.

Over the years, I've learned a few things: that the perfect hot tub temperature is 104°F, that razor clamming is addictive, that the Kite Festival will change your life, and that there's nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound of Pacific waves. I pour all of this knowledge (and love) into making SeaQueen a place you'll want to return to year after year.

When I'm not updating the house or planning the next improvement, you'll find me walking the Discovery Trail at sunset, testing new restaurants for guest recommendations, or adding to my ever-growing flamingo collection (my husband has stopped commenting).

SeaQueen isn't just a rental property to me – it's an extension of how I believe life should be lived: with joy, comfort, good company, and always with room for one more at the table. I can't wait to host you and help create memories that'll last long after the salt water washes off.
